Welcome
Dear Friends, My
name is Tami (Robinson) Soper and I’m running for State Senator in Nebraska’s 21 st Legislative District. I’m
seeking this office to make a difference.
I
was born in Nebraska and have lived in District 21 for most
of my life. And, just like my neighbors, I value the quality
of life we’ve come to appreciate in our state. I
grew up understanding the importance of public service. My
father is a US Air Force Veteran and a retired postal worker,
and my mother retired after 34 years of teaching in Lincoln
public schools. Throughout my life, I’ve demonstrated
my commitment to service as a member of the Nebraska Air National
Guard, as a health and human services professional, and as
an active community volunteer. I’ve dedicated my personal and professional life to standing up for what I believe in and using my voice to advocate for others. As your Legislator, I will work to ensure that everyday, hard-working Nebraskans continue to be represented in the decisions made by our state. I will listen, learn and make objective decisions. I will work for compromise when it’s appropriate, and I will stand and fight when it’s
not. I will put people before politics. I thank you for your interest in my campaign, and I would appreciate your vote in May 2008.
